  • Dubai Courts Wills (For All Emirates)

    • Legal Basis: UAE civil law, with flexibility for non-Muslims

    • Official Fees: AED 2,100 per Will (excluding drafting, notarization & VAT)

    • Mirror Will (for couples): AED 4,200

    • Registration: In person or via Dubai e-notary system

    • Drafting: Must be done by a lawyer or certified Will draftsman

  • DIFC Wills (Dubai International Financial Centre)

    • Jurisdiction: DIFC Courts, UAE-wide enforcement

    • Language: English

    • Legal Basis: English Common Law

    • Official Fees:

    • Single Will: AED 5,000–10,000

    • Mirror Will: AED 7,500–15,000 (fees depend on asset types)

    • Registration: Online via video call

    • Drafting: Must be by a DIFC-approved draftsman

  • Abu Dhabi Civil Family Court Wills

    • Jurisdiction: Abu Dhabi Civil Court (non-religious framework)

    • Language: English & Arabic supported

    • Legal Basis: Civil, non-religious law (for expats only)

    • Official Fees: AED 950 per Will (excluding drafting & VAT)

    • Registration: Online through video call verification

    • Drafting: Can be done by any lawyer or professional draftsman

 

Note: UAE nationals must register under traditional Shariah-based courts.
