  • If issued outside the UAE, it must be:

    • Notarized in the home country

    • Attested by the UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country of origin

    • Attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in the UAE

    • Officially translated into Arabic by a certified legal translator

Important Note

If the father is a UAE resident and meets the eligibility criteria to sponsor the child’s visa, the mother will not be permitted to act as the sponsor, regardless of the NOC. Therefore, it is essential to verify the father’s sponsorship eligibility before proceeding with the NOC request.
